Explore Newberry Michigan and experience the remote wilderness of the Upper Peninsula. The scenic opportunities are amazingly breathtaking. Luce and Chippewa County are home to the spectacular Upper and Lower Tahquamenon Falls nestled within the Tahquamenon Falls State Park. The Tahquamenon Falls are the second largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi River. Moose flourish within the State Park and there is a chance that you will see a moose on your way to the falls. Make sure you bring your camera on your visit.
Visit the Tahquamenon Logging Museum and learn about Newberry's history and how this small town was founded. Visit the Logging Museums many annual events and enjoy an old-fashioned pancake breakfast.
Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association grooms mile of trails in the Luce County area. Newberry is known for its miles and miles of trails that are centrally located. You can sled to almost anywhere in the Upper Peninsula by starting in the Newberry trail system. Come visit Newberry in any season!
